Beyond just implementing some middleware/framework for remote sim deployments, this project raises a few interesting software architecture related questions as it uses multi-threading in both remsim-bankd and remsim-server. It thus is is a test baloon on what we can and cannot do when integrating multi-threading with libosmocore with some outlook on other possible future use cases.
