TTCN-3 is a domain-specific programming language designed by ETSI specifically for the purpose of doing functional / conformance testing of communications protocol stacks.
In 2015, Ericsson released their compiler + runtime as "Eclipse TITAN", which means we now have a FOSS toolchain to work with this exceptional programming language.
